Description: Official membership, site review, discovery, request, messaging, and collaboration workflow.
# How Indie Chains Works

Indie Chains replaces random cold outreach with a reviewed network and a clear request workflow. The platform helps members meet and communicate. It does not sell links or control what another site publishes.

## 1. Join and publish or submit a site

An account can add a real product, tool, directory, newsletter, community, or content site. Free publishers verify the Indie Chains banner for public listing; Premium members can use the manual-review path for private network participation.

- Every submitted site is checked before it can participate.
- Review considers ownership, quality, relevance, safety, and obvious spam risk.
- A rejected site can be improved and submitted again.

## 2. Find a relevant match

Members browse approved sites and look for a page, audience, or topic where their product would genuinely help the reader.

- Category, site details, Domain Rating, and placement preferences provide context.
- Request credits limit volume and discourage bulk outreach.
- No member is required to accept a request.

## 3. Discuss and confirm

The requester explains the fit. The receiving member can accept, reject, or ask questions in a private thread.

- Each site owner controls what gets published.
- Members can submit live placement URLs when work is complete.
- Both participants confirm completion before reputation is updated.
- Indie Chains never guarantees links, rankings, traffic, or commercial outcomes.

## Operating principles

- **Free publishing:** compliant sites can receive and manage requests after banner verification.
- **Premium membership:** payment covers private discovery, outbound requests, manual review, moderation, and billing tools.
- **Human review:** participation depends on site quality and ownership checks.
- **Voluntary collaboration:** publishers retain editorial control.
- **No outcome promises:** membership and accepted requests do not guarantee results.
